How To Apply

Nail water decals

1. Before beginning your manicure, be sure to buff the nail, pushing the cuticles away and wiping off any oils that might have built up on the surface.

2. After you have cured the gel color base of your choice, apply a layer of basecoat or topcoat.

3. Cure the top or base for 10 seconds (Important: avoid wiping off any sticky residue).

4. Cut your desired design and immerse it in a cup or a bowl containing lukewarm water for 15-30 seconds.

5. Using tweezers, carefully slide the decal from the backing paper, then adhere it to the desired spot on the nail.

6. Seal the design with two layers of topcoat and cure. Don’t forget to seal the edges.

7. Cure again for 30-60 seconds in LED lamp.

PRO TIPS:

  • Water decals need a sticky layer to adhere properly. If your gel leaves no sticky layer, apply a thin coat of primer or Ultrabond first.
  • If you’re new to sliders, it’s best to apply them on the sticky layer: either the residual tackiness of the gel color or a thin layer of base/top coat with a sticky layer (cure for 10 seconds first). This way, you can adjust the position before final curing.
  • Press the slider firmly into the nail surface to ensure even adhesion — as if “imprinting” it into the nail.
  • Be careful when sealing the slider with top coat — make sure to cover the entire surface evenly to prevent lifting.
  • When using primer as the base, place the slider correctly on the first try — it’s difficult to reposition afterward (only minor adjustments toward the cuticle or sides are possible).
  • Apply the gel polish base layer as thin as possible — even with slight gaps — the slider will hide any imperfections, and this avoids unnecessary bulk.
  • If needed, remove the transparent film around the design with primer or Ultrabond, but be gentle not to damage the printed area.
  • For 3D designs, apply a very thin layer of matte top coat to preserve the embossed texture.
  • If the decal is larger than the nail, trim it or use acid-free primer/Ultrabond around the edges to remove the excess.
  • Always seal the edges thoroughly to protect against moisture and prevent lifting — unless you intentionally want to skip this step (sliders often hold well even without sealing).

Nail wrap films

  1. Gently buff the nail plate with a soft file and degrease it, removing any dust. Make sure the nails are completely dry.
  2. Peel off the white protective layer from the wrap for easier handling.
  3. Choose the wrap of the right size using any convenient method.
  4. Carefully lift the wrap from its backing using a wooden stick.
  5. Place the wrap on the clean nail as close to the cuticle as possible, slightly stretching it and smoothing it toward the free edge and sides. And gently press the wrap under the free edge of the nail.
  6. File off the excess wrap in one direction using a soft file or trim it with a cutting tool.
  7. For better durability, seal the wraps with a base coat and a top coat for gel polish (using a semi-dry brush), or use a regular nail polish top coat (avoid applying too thick!).

Wraps can also be worn without a base and top coat — they last perfectly for 3–5 weeks!

PRO TIPS:

  • A base coat is not necessary for better adhesion.
  • Avoid overstretching the wrap — apply only slight tension, especially on curved nails.
  • It’s better to trim the wrap to the nail size before removing it from the backing.
  • Always file off the excess with a soft 240-grit file in one direction or cut precisely along the free edge.

If you use the wraps as a standalone coating (without a base or top coat), avoid the following during the first 24 hours:

  • Contact with toners, cleansing foams, or water.
  • Visiting saunas or steam rooms. Prolonged soaking in water.
  • Wearing shoes that might rub against the nails.
